Common Questions

Does this replace Xactimate?

Carriers dictate the format on carrier-submitted claims — so for that one export, no. But QPQ was never meant to be Xactimate. It's where the actual work happens: scan the room, build the scope, add your notes, see your margin, and hand the client a clean PDF before you're back in the truck. Carrier claims get their Xactimate export at the end; everything else — retail, remodel, non-carrier restoration — is done in QPQ start to finish.

Do I need a specific iPhone for LiDAR scanning?

In-app scanning requires an iPhone 12 Pro or newer (any Pro model), or an iPad Pro from 2020 or later. The app runs fully on every other iPhone and iPad — you just enter room dimensions manually instead of scanning them. You can also import RoomPlan scan files on the web app from any device.

Is the pricing catalog accurate for my region?

The base catalog reflects national averages with Southeast weighting. ZIP-code regional pricing is included on Professional and Company plans, and you can override any rate on any line item at any time.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Export every estimate to PDF before you go — your data is yours. Customer information is encrypted at rest in the database, and I don't sell or share anything with anyone.

I'm not in Charlotte. Can I still sign up?

Absolutely. The founding-seat pricing is Charlotte-specific because I want to be able to meet those users in person and learn from watching them work. The app works anywhere and beta access is open to everyone.

Can my whole team use one account?

The Company plan includes 5 seats with a shared estimate library and an admin dashboard that shows every estimator's work grouped by person. Additional seats are $49/mo. If you need more than 10 seats, email me and we'll work something out.
